Rare Chinese Vintage Art Deco Style Mid Century French Inspired Cabinet Candlestick Telephone.
A Very Beautiful and Rare, Vintage Mid Century Chinese Made, French Inspired Candlestick Telephone.  Rare as it has the original cord rather than a curly modern one! In lovely condition and is working - not PAT tested though.
The cabinet itself is black lacquer in style with replica ivory carvings of dragons on the front. Brass detailing on the front, sides and the cradle is also brass. Ivory effect candlestick receiver. Rotary dial with dragon in the middle, and painted dragons on either side.  Label on the bottom states : Mandarin Telephone. Date/l 1966. Intercontinental Telephone Co. Made in Republic of China.
